How to Book Fitness Classes Directly From Google
Make your resolutions happen for 2017.
Depending on your point of view, the end of the year is either the most optimistic or most pessimistic time of year. We’re making resolutions for how to improve the following year, reflecting on what happened in the past, or realizing that the more everything changes, the more everything stays the same.
But no matter opinion, it is fact that gym memberships spike right after the holidays. (Gym traffic increases 40 percent in December and January.)
For those looking to stay in shape this holiday season or improve their fitness in the new year, Google is making it more seamless to book a fitness class with a new feature.
Reserve with Google, first rolling out in Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco, will allow potential gym-goers to book their next class directly from the search engine. Users can search for nearby classes, get recommendations or book at their regular location.
Once users have selected a class and location, Google will automatically aggregate data and transfer customers over to a studio’s page to either pay for the booking or reserve a place.
Google’s new option—and official end to work-out excuses—will start popping up in map and search results over the next few days.
