This Viral Fundraiser Is Offering up Everything From a Private Concert With Justin Bieber to a Walk-on Role With Leonardo DiCaprio
If you’ve got a little time on your hands while quarantining at home, along with a few spare dollars in your pocket, this celebrity-fueled experience is for you.
In the wake of the coronavirus, celebrities all over the world came together to support one common cause: feeding hungry Americans with the All In Challenge. But, they need your help to complete their mission. Here’s how it all works.
“The All In Challenge aims to be the world’s largest digital fundraiser in history by raising tens of millions of dollars to feed those in need,” the fundraising website wrote. “Food insecurity is a mounting issue but never more important than during COVID-19 and the unprecedented shortage of food resources our nation is facing. Among those most in need: students who rely on currently closed schools for several of their meals each week; the newly unemployed who are facing uncertain circumstances; and a vulnerable elderly population sequestered in their homes without access to food.”
The All In Challenge, created by Fanatics founder and executive chairman Michael Rubin, along with Alan Tisch, Gary Vaynerchuk, with support from the entire Fanatics team, brings together celebrities from sports, entertainment, music, and beyond for “once-in-a-lifetime experiences that will be both available for online auction and as giveaways.”
Basically, celebrities, destinations, venues, and experiences offer themselves up for prizes in exchange for small donations. Those wishing to enter can purchase 10 entries for $10 all the way up to 200 entries for $200. There is no limit on how much money an individual can donate.
What can you win? How about a walk-on role in a new Martin Scorsese movie alongside Robert De Niro, offered up by Leonardo DiCaprio himself?
Other giveaways include meeting the entire cast of Friends during the taping of their HBO Max special, a studio hangout with Ariana Grande, a day on set with Lin Manuel Miranda, a private concert with Justin Bieber, produce a song with Quavo, co-hosting with Ellen, and much much more.
The platform has raised more than $21 million to date, but don’t worry there’s still plenty of time for you to donate and enter too.
