Virgin Atlantic crewmembers got a quintessentially British makeover for the brand’s 30thanniversary. In conjunction with the reveal of their new Vivienne Westwood-designed uniforms—which feature sharply tailored red skirt suits for the ladies and maroon 3-piece suits for the guys—the airline unveiled a fresh makeup look created by British beauty brand Illamasqua.

Now, the faces of Virgin Atlantic’s team will be done up with a soft smoky eye, natural blush, and most notably, a vibrant red lipstick that was created specially for Virgin Atlantic called “Virgin” ($26;

Who’s got the (very literally) glamorous task of overseeing the styling of Virgin Atlantic’s crew? Chief Beauty Officer, Rebecca Creer, who says, “the new Virgin color Illamasqua has created complements our new uniform beautifully and will take the iconic Virgin red lip into the future.” We couldn’t agree more.
