This summer’s roller coaster rides are sure to get your heart pumping. Coney Island recently introduced the Thunderbolt roller coaster—the boardwalk's first new, custom-built coaster since the opening of the wooden-track Cyclone in 1927. North of Cincinnati, you'll find Ohio’s Kings Island, and the new $24-million-dollar The Banshee ride, an inverted coaster that turns thrill seekers upside-down seven times!

Kids will love the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Disney World’s Fantasyland, just be sure to sign up for the Disney FastPass+ to reserve a time slot so you won't have to wait too long in line. The new Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Diagon Alley in Orlando is an awesome 3D experience that the young ones will go crazy for too. Find yourself in Vegas? You won't want to miss the High Roller at The Linq in Las Vegas—it's currently the world's tallest Ferris Wheel.

But when someone asks what the no. 1 new thrill ride is this summer, there's only one answer: Six Flag Great America’s Goliath, in Chicago, with a heart-pounding 180-foot drop and speeds of up to 72 miles per hour. You won't want to miss it.
