If you’re planning a summer road trip or camping trip, be sure to add this location to your list of stops.

America’s newest national park, Indiana Dunes National Park, is officially taking camping reservations for people who are looking for an ideal summer campsite, according to Fox 59.

Indiana Dunes National Park is formerly the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, renamed and designated a national park back in February, making it the country’s 61st national park, according to Michigan Live. The park is made up of 15 miles of shore on Lake Michigan in Indiana and boasts 15,000 acres of beaches, woods, natural features, and 50 miles of trails.

In short, it’s sure to become one of the best national park campsites in the U.S.

According to Fox 59, the park has created a new system for reserving campsites. Out of the 66 sites available, 34 are bookable up to six months in advance and 32 are first-come-first-served.

In past years, the entire park was first-come-first-served, Fox 59 reported.

Campsites run for $25 per night between April and October, so now is the perfect time to plan your getaway.

For more information, visit the park’s page on the National Park Services website. An online reservation portal for the park will go live on Wednesday, May 15, at 10 a.m. EST (9 a.m. CST), according to Fox 59.
