It’s almost springtime, which means we’re about to see some beautiful blooms all over the U.S.

Typically, between March and mid-April, the iconic bluebonnets that grow wild in Texas (also the state flower) begin to blossom, making the state one of the best places to see springtime in all its glory. Last year, Big Bend National Park experienced its largest bluebonnet bloom in a decade. And this year may be just as colorful.

In celebration of this annual bloom, luxury ranch resort JL Bar Ranch, Resort & Spa in Sonora, Texas, is unrolling a series of special bluebonnet-inspired offers for guests.

First, the JL Bar will be serving up two local-flower-inspired signature cocktails: The Bluebonnet and The Indian Paintbrush. It is unclear what ingredients will be used for these cocktails, but the Bluebonnet seems to incorporate notes of jalapeno and stands out with its beautiful, blue color. The Indian Paintbrush, much like the flower itself, is a pink cocktail served in a martini glass and garnished with lemon.

In addition to libations, guests can also cash in on a number of special packages. The resort is offering a Bluebonnet Days Room Package. In addition to a stay in a premium room, this package includes a private photographer to capture photos of you amongst the wildflowers and bluebonnets, complimentary food and house beverages, bluebonnet-inspired activities, a welcome Signature Bluebonnet cocktail, and a nightly turndown treat.

For those looking for a good weekend getaway, the resort is offering a Monday Blues Package, which is a three-day weekend stay that includes a Monday (for example, Saturday to Monday, or Sunday to Tuesday). This package includes amenities much like the Bluebonnet Days Room package, with the addition of live Blues music on Monday evening.

Rates for these packages begin at $645. For more information or to make a booking, visit the JL Bar Ranch, Resort & Spa website.
