We all know women rule the world, but TourRadar, the world’s largest online travel market place for multi-day tours, is acutely aware that women run the travel universe, too. And that’s why it’s giving one lucky woman a free trip in honor of International Women’s Day.

According to the company, more than 30 percent of its bookings are by female solo travelers. Of those, the company says, the majority are women over 50 and typically are Americans.

To celebrate the women already taking journeys with TourRadar, it will give one more woman the chance to do the same in the form of $2,000 worth of travel credits.

The contest is open to any individual that identifies as a woman who is willing to embark on a solo adventure of her choice.

“One of the easiest and safest ways to kick off the journey as a new female solo traveler is to book a multi-day tour,” Iris Serbanescu, Director of Partnerships for TourRadar, shared in a statement. “Platforms like TourRadar connect travelers to experienced guides that speak the local language and whose job it is to ensure they’re having an amazing experience while staying safe. We hope this campaign will inspire more women to take the plunge and try solo travel for the first time.”

Interested in taking the trip of a lifetime or know someone who is? All you need to do for a chance to win this trip for yourself or someone else is to go online and submit this form. There, you can either submit a one-minute video or 250-word testimony about yourself or the person you nominate. In the video, let TourRadar know why this solo female adventure is for you or the person you’re nominating. The winner will be announced on International Women's Day, March 8th.

Oh, and even if you don’t win you can still check out all the solo travel adventures with TourRadar. Though be warned, you’ll quickly be inspired and want to book a getaway ASAP.
