American Express

American Express is extending its network of luxury airport lounges. With Centurion Lounge locations in Las Vegas, New York's LaGuardia Airport, and Dallas/Fort Worth, the newest addition opened at San Francisco International Airport—the first on the West Coast.

The SFO edition of AMEX's lounge, located in Terminal 3, has high-speed Wi-Fi and outlets at every seat, as well as a soundproof family room for kids to expel some energy before long flights.

It also provides shower suites, and features a restaurant with seasonal cuisine by three-Michelin-star chef Christopher Kostow, cocktails by famed mixologist Jim Meehan, and a wine tasting area. Access is complimentary to card members and their immediate family, or up to two travel companions.

All AMEX cardmembers are eligible for entry—a one-day pass is $50. The lounge is complimentary for Platinum and Centurion members.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport also just introduced the Centurion Studio. Centurion Lounge's newest location, at Miami International, will be unveiled next year.
