If you thought walking down the aisle was nerve-racking, imagine the aisle suspended 4,000 feet over the Grand Canyon. Once it's completed later this year, the 70-yard cantilevered glass-and-steel Skywalk will jut out from the red cliffs, giving an uninterrupted view down the canyon to the Colorado River. Grand Canyon West (, owned by the Hualapai tribe, intends to rent out the Skywalk to wedding parties and will even have an on-site planner to orchestrate nuptials—and, one would imagine, to calm the heightened premarital jitters.
