Summer is around the corner, and for those looking to enjoy warmer temperatures outdoors, a new camping app helps make it easy to find extraordinary destinations to stay at across the country.

Hipcamp, known for offering a range of campsites and accommodations on both private and public lands that go beyond the traditional camping experience, has launched a new app that lets travelers book campsites, glamping accommodations, and RV sites in America staight from their phone.

Users will find more than 300,000 campsites to choose from on the app, ranging from hidden locations and private accommodations in vineyards or ranches, to locations at popular national parks

The company is known for partnering with private landowners to offer its guests camping locations that are eclectic and unforgettable, with options that range from stays at apple orchards and glass greenhouses on private beach farms to tents at a mushroom farm.

"Hipcamp means something much broader than traditional camping, whether that's going to a really cool local farm and buying local produce and meat on-site to cook for breakfast or staying at a glamping location where everything is set up for people who aren't traveling with their own gear," founder and CEO Alyssa Ravasio told Travel + Leisure.

The company's mission is to get more people outdoors with stays that come in a range of options allowing for travelers of varied interests to try out camping themselves.

Thanks to these offerings, visitors can combine stays with experiences like tasting homemade maple syrups and jams, spending time with miniature donkeys, or exploring lavender fields and flower farms surround their accommodation.

Filters on the app make it easy to narrow down searches, from the most popular locations to those that are pet friendly or good for large groups. Users can also search locations based on amenities on offer, nearby activities, and price.

Travelers will also be able to easily send their trip details to people joining the trip via text to allow everyone in the group to see directions, details on what to bring, and information on fun activities available around the area.

While the app is only inititally available for iOS, it will soon be available for Android as well.
