Would You Spend $60,000 on a Road Trip?
When you think about a family road trip, it's usually images of camping, roadside diners and a tightly packed car that come to mind. Spa treatments, luxurious accommodations and personal guides? Not so much.
That didn’t stop Exclusive Resorts from creating the Ultimate National Parks Journey that includes all of the above and more for a cool $60,000.
Yes, for more than most people’s annual salary, a family of four can embark on an over-the-top, 17-night luxury trip that hits the major national parks for the summer in honor of the National Parks Services 100th anniversary.
Families will begin this pricey adventure with a seven-night road trip through Canyon Country in an iconic, silver, 28-foot Airstream luxury trailer, a full day of privately guided canyoneering and hiking through Zion National Park’s renowned Slot Canyon and Antelope Canyon. They'll also get their own naturalist on a guided hike in Grand Canyon National Park.
Obviously guests will need to relax before and after the first part of the trip, so a two-night bookend stay in one of the Club’s two-bedroom apartments at the Vdara Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas is also included.
After the Airstream and Vegas experiences, families will head to Northwest Wyoming for a six-night adventure in Yellowstone National Park. Of course, expert guides are provided along the way ensuring guests get the best access to all the Park’s iconic sites, from Old Faithful to the Tetons.
During the tour there will also be an evening at the Cody Night Rodeo, horseback trail ride in Yellowstone National Park, scenic float or whitewater rafting trip down the Snake River, and three-nights at the Four Seasons Jackson Hole in Teton Village, Wyoming.
