And that's exactly what the most wish listed Airbnb in New York state can provide. In June, Airbnb shared its most wish listed properties in every state in the country — and the Willow Treehouse is the most coveted vacation rental in New York state. The tree house, located about two-and-a-half hours north of New York City, sits on 34 acres of land filled with lush forests. And it's just a 15-minute drive from the town of Woodstock, New York. Courtesy of Airbnb Courtesy of Airbnb The tree house, designed by Antony Gibbon and built by William Johnson, comes with just one bedroom and one bath, but that is really all you need because the star of the show here is the massive picture window overlooking the property's private lake. Courtesy of Airbnb Upon entering the tree house, guests are greeted by the stunning views and the light pouring in through the window, with a cozy couch facing the views so guests can sit and watch the best television show on the Mother Nature network. The home also comes with a complete kitchen for those looking to cook up a feast during their outdoorsy getaway. There's also a reading nook area filled with classics, and a plush bed sitting in the loft, which also comes with its own smaller window, so guests go to bed and wake up with a view. Courtesy of Airbnb Outside, guests can sit and enjoy the covered patio, or head to the lake and jump off the floating dock for a refreshing dip any time they'd like. There is also more than enough space to roam and head out for a hike in the woods. And, for chillier nights, the home also comes with a hot tub, which is heated with firewood to keep things toasty. Remember, though: The home is incredibly popular, so if you want to spend a few nights here, you should start planning about a year in advance. Stays start at $382 a night, and you can book your stay here. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
