Winning a T+L World’s Best Award is a cause for hotels, cities, airlines, and tour operators to break open the bubbly. But the Hotel Teatro in Denver didn’t stop with a toast. To celebrate being named one of the top 50 large city hotels in the U.S. and Canada in our 2009 survey, this 110-room property called upon its top-shelf mixologists to whip up a cocktail. A little Stoli Orange, a little Grand Marnier, some orange garnish, and voila: the World’s Best Martini was born.

Of course, with the countless martini varieties—appletinis, Miami-tinis, and all those who claim to make the “world’s best martini”—the Teatro is wading into crowded waters. But we’re sure this WBM will live up to its name. Starting Monday, July 27, the hotel’s Prima Ristorante will be serving up the concoction for 50 days. Cost: $5. Drop by for one (or two) and let us know what you think.
