This year, instead of going on a solo journey, why not pair up with your favorite celebrity for a global adventure? The Luminary Experiences by travel company Discover 7 can help.

The company’s new tailored trips around the world will all be led by select “Luminaries,” or experts who represent the very best in their respective fields. These travelers, the company explained in a statement, are “some of the greatest minds and personalities across the culinary, wellness, athletic, political, and entertainment spaces today.” And they all want to vacation with you.

“Our ultimate vision in launching the Luminary Experiences is to connect people to some of the biggest names in today’s cultural arena through shared interests, while providing new and thrilling experiences that money alone cannot buy,” Eric Grayson, chairman and cofounder of the company, said in a statement.

“After years spent planning essentially the same travel itineraries over and over again for travelers seeking exclusive trips, I reached a point where I kept dreaming and thinking bigger,” Cameron MacMillan, cofounder of Luminary Experiences, added. “I found myself constantly questioning and challenging the culturally accepted norms and limits of possibility when it came to luxury travel, and decided to attempt breaking the barriers into next-level personalized travel, which ultimately led to the conception of the Luminary Experiences.”

The duo came up with several global itineraries for 2020, with the first one kicking off this summer. Additional trips are currently in development for 2021, including a yoga-focused experience with actress Zoe Kravitz.

For now, you can book a Paris and Normandy itinerary alongside world-renowned presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin (August 6 to 11, 2020), or a trip through Milan with model and actor Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman (September 5 to 10, 2020).

Game of Thrones fans can also book a trip to Iceland with The Mountain himself, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (September 20 to 25, 2020). Meanwhile, foodies can head to Naples and Sorrento with Eataly top chef Simone Falco (October 1 to 6, 2020) and theater lovers can book a trip to Morocco with Tony Award-winning actor BD Wong (November 5 to 11, 2020).

The itineraries, the team said, are specially curated to exhibit the designated Luminary’s personal expertise and draw compelling connections to the chosen destinations. That offers travelers truly once-in-a-lifetime access not only to their favorite people, but also to their favorite destinations like never before. Check out their website now and get booking.
