Though the days of traveling with heavy trunks are over, the glamour of a classic leather steamer remains—and on wheels, thank goodness!

Two British brands—menswear atelier Turnbull and Asser and luggage company Globe-Trotter— have teamed up to create a limited edition luxury suitcase (from $1,605; The valise's leather-trimmed exterior takes on Globe-Trotter's modern vintage aesthetic, while the interior features Turnbull & Asser's iconic blue gingham print cotton fabric.

Handmade in Herfordshire, England, the rollaboard combines functionality with old-time style. Despite its outward handsomeness, the suitcase goes beyond looks: the fiberboard luggage comes in two cabin-friendly sizes, the smaller weighing in at just 7.3 lbs. Each touts two durable wheels and a lightweight crafted wooden handle for a smooth trot to the terminal.

The all-black case is sleek enough for work outings, and stylish enough for a jet-set to Capri or Cannes. Whether you travel for business or pleasure, this collaboration is bound to turn heads.
