Ever find yourself daydreaming at work about booking a last-minute trip? Thanks to—the latest venture from Gilt Groupe, best known for their utterly addictive designer flash-sales—it’s easier and more tempting than ever to do just that.

Every day, the site sends registered members an email with a new batch of specially negotiated—and deeply discounted—hotel stays around the world (at press time, a City View Junior Suite at the Epic Hotel Miami was going for $169 per night—that’s $158, or nearly 50 percent, less than the hotel’s published rate!).

Unlike Gilt’s fashion website, which allows users to make a purchase within a 24-hour window, Jetsetter members have more time to ponder their purchase. After all, there's a lot to consider: Can you get a good flight? Is the hotel pet-friendly? Does it have a fitness center? The site attempts to answer some of these questions with editorial content produced by a team of travel correspondents who summarize the hotel experience, listing such things as the nearest airport, check-in and check-out times, the cost of valley parking, and so on.

All of the prices include taxes though service and resort fees do vary from property to property based on the property’s policy. Even if you’re not planning any upcoming travel, the site is beautifully laid out with lots of destination photos and registration is free. What to you have to lose?
