Ever wonder what it was like to live in a bubble? You’re about to find out.

Travel website Off The Map Travel is bringing a new perspective to La Reunion Island, located in the Indian Ocean between Mauritius and Madagascar. As part of their “Like Nowhere Else on Earth” experience, guests are invited to see the sights of the island, including lush jungles, volcanoes, sweeping mountains, and deep ravines.

The unique experience begins at Hiker’s Eden, a lodge retreat deep in the mountains. At the start of the day, guests will enjoy a Creole lunch followed by some on-land exploration and a tour on the island’s lava caves.

In the evening, guests move to the small village of Les Makes, where they will be able to turn in for the night in a see-through glass bubble in an area surrounded by gorgeous, overgrown wilderness that can only be described as “real life Jurassic Park,” according to a statement from the company. Through the bubble, guests can gaze at the stars and marvel at the lush foliage around them.

Each transparent bubble provides a sleeping and relaxation space, all connected to a shared bathroom and lounge.

“La Reunion is a dramatic land of fiery volcanoes, steep-sided jungle landscapes and starlit skies – off-the-beaten-track and offering a taste of Creole culture with a splash of luxury,” said Jonny Cooper, founder of Off the Map Travel. “It’s an area unmarred by tourism and filled with adventures.”

Bubble hotels are a popular, unique experience for travelers looking for something off-beat in their accommodation. There is another bubble hotel on the nearby island of Mauritius, and cozy bubble hotels in Iceland, too.

The “Like Nowhere on Earth” experience can be catered to your tastes and needs. All itineraries include a daily breakfast, transfers, accommodations in hotels and villas in the coastal town of Sainte-Gilles, one night in a bubble accommodation on La Reunion, lava cave tours, a jungle zip line, and a heli-hiking experience to Hiker’s Eden with lunch.
