St. Lucia Scheduled for an April unveiling is Cap Maison (Cap Estate; 011-208/812-4734;; doubles from $435), a 1,500-acre former plantation with 22 sprawling oceanfront villas featuring barrel-vaulted ceilings and outdoor showers—not to mention a 46-foot boat for sunset cruises.

St. Thomas A $40 million overhaul is bringing new life to the Ritz-Carlton (6900 Great Bay; 800/241-3333 or 340/775-3333;; doubles from $839).
