If you’re the type who hates wasting precious space in your carry-on, try packing with space bags next time. This technique employs a vacuum to suck out any remaining air, leaving you with optimal room for shoes, accessories, books and more. Note: for the college kids out there, vacuumless (and much less expensive) space bags do exist.

1) Fold items and place them in space bags

2) Attach vacuum to compress

3) Place compressed bags in suitcase
