You can borrow pre-downloaded iPods at resorts such as the Mandarin Oriental, Miami, and Mexico’s Tides Zihuatanejo. Meanwhile, the Benjamin in New York, provides lullaby Sound Pillows, which have thin speakers buried inside and can be hooked up to an MP3 player.


At Boston’s Fairmont Copley Plaza, loyalty program members can snap photos with the hotel’s HP Photosmart digital cameras and print them out at the front desk for free.


Marriott and Westin now stock Nintendo Wii game systems in rooms and public spaces at properties across the United States. The Viceroy Miami doles out Wii and PlayStation equipment upon request, and Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco Seattle hosts virtual band jams on Xbox 360’s Guitar Hero World Tour during its Friday night wine hour.
