Disney World Is Offering Huge Discounts to Florida Residents — Here’s How to Save
There’s officially one more reason why living close to Disney World makes you the luckiest person on earth.
According to the Disney website, Florida residents can cash in on an exclusive deal to enjoy three days at the park for only $175 through the "Discover Disney" ticket special.
You only need to prove you’re a permanent Florida resident and you’re approved for the deal, Southern Living reported. That’s it. And if three days isn’t enough for you, you can even add a fourth day to your ticket for only $20, or add on a park-hopper option for $32.50 ($37.50 for the four-day option), according to the Orlando Sentinel.
And, Florida residents, if you’re wondering if there’s a catch — there isn’t one. You can use this ticket any time between now and June 30, 2019 with no blackout dates. You don’t even have to use it on consecutive days, if you feel like spreading out your time at the park.
During the first half of 2019, Disney World is adding some brand new attractions that you might want to see, including new Pixar Meet-and-Greets, Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration, A Lion King Celebration, and lots of new hotel and restaurant openings.
Plus, if you really want to feel like you’re on vacation, you can opt for one of the many, deeply discounted hotel deals that begin in late April and May. The first half of May is a particularly great time to enjoy the park without too many long lines.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, a three-day ticket costs between $98 and $113 per day, depending on the date. So, if you’re going on days with a $98 admission fee, that’s about a 40 percent discount, without any add ons.
Even if you live in the neighborhood, going to Disney World is still a pretty expensive treat, so its hard to pass up a deal this good.
