Christmas is already in full swing at Walt Disney World.

But while decor and merchandise are popping up throughout the parks, one key piece of the classic Disney holiday is missing: The countless lights that decorate Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom still remain dark.

Fortunately for park-goers, the season will truly begin at Disney in just a few days when the castle is fully lit for the first time. The ceremonial lighting of the castle will take place on Thursday, November 9 as part of the opening night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a festive, park-wide event that happens on select nights throughout November and December.

The lighting ceremony, called “A Frozen Holiday Wish,” stars “Frozen” characters Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff, with Queen Elsa using her icy powers to transform the castle into a lighted, sparkling winter wonderland. The party will also include a stage show, holiday parade, fireworks show and unlimited cookies and hot chocolate for guests to enjoy while they watch.

While lucky Disney fans with tickets to the season's first sold-out party will be able to witness the holiday magic in person, those who are jealously sitting at home don’t have to miss out completely. The Disney Parks Blog has announced a live-stream of the castle lighting event on the blog, letting fans around the world witness the official kickoff to the holiday season at Disney. Anyone interested can watch the festivities here at 8:10 p.m. ET on Thursday, November 9.

The annual event is bound to hit you with warm nostalgia and abundant holiday spirit (albeit more than a few weeks too early).
