A popular Magic Kingdom at Disney World attraction is heading across the country to Disney California Adventure.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic, a whimsical 3D experience, will open later this month at the theme park’s Sunset Showcase Theatre. Featuring animated characters and famed songs from films like “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin,” and “The Little Mermaid,” the show will feature similar humor and special effects as the delightful Disney World attraction.

The theater, which previously housed “Muppet*Vision 3D” and has since been used for temporary previews of new Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars films, will debut its new experience at a soon-to-be-announced date in April.

Jessie’s Critter Carousel, a Western-themed Toy Story merry-go-round, is the other new addition to the California theme park. Later this month, guests can officially hop on board the cartoonish creatures from “Woody’s Roundup,” the television show featured in “Toy Story 2,” although the ride is currently open for testing.

The new Toy Story attraction is the latest addition to Pixar Pier, which debuted last summer with experiences themed to famous films including an Incredibles roller coaster, Toy Story Poultry Palace kiosk and Monsters, Inc. ice cream stand. A new Inside Out-themed spinner ride will also debut at Pixar Pier later this year.

There’s plenty more on the horizon at the California theme parks as well. Disneyland Park’s big opening, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, will first welcome guests later this May, and plans for a Marvel-themed land at Disney California Adventure are currently underway.
