In-flight service is one of those aspects of flying that you may not even notice—that is, until an attendant steers the beverage cart into your knee.

In fact, great in-flight service can transform a harried, stressful business flight into an escape from any madness on the ground. This essential element of a good travel experience becomes increasingly important at a time when other airline perks are declining.

And when it comes to service, all airlines are not created equal. At least that’s what we found when we conducted the 2014 Best in Business Travel Survey with Fortune. We asked readers of both magazines how they travel for business, across a variety of topics. Here’s how the domestic airlines stacked up for in-flight service:

1.) Virgin America
2.) JetBlue Airways
3.) Alaska Airlines
4.) AirTran Airways
5.) Delta Air Lines
6.) Southwest Airlines
7.) American Airlines
8.) United Airlines
9.) Frontier Airlines
10.) US Airways
