Say good-bye to the days of spritzing perfume on the neck, or dabbing fragrance along the inside of the wrist—so says Frédéric Fekkai. The stylist extraordinaire hopes to change the status quo with his new line of aromatic mists, which are sprayed on—you guessed it—hair.

T+L Editorial Assistant Katie James shares her take.

Pros: The Mist Mini Kit, a trio of travel-sized scents—Crème Vanillée, Rose Fraîche, and Citron et Menthe—is inspired by notes found in some of Fekkai’s most popular lines (they smell good!). Whether you’re headed to the Caribbean or the Alps, these mists make it easy to subtly disperse fragrance, while also “taming flyaways and bringing shine to the hair for an enticing finishing touch,” says Fekkai.

Cons: The concept of hair fragrance may take getting used to—best stick to the motto “less is more,” or risk overdoing it (something I was guilty of on my first attempt).

Verdict: Packable.
