The glamorous oceanfront retreat is a treasure trove for style seekers.

Palm Beach, Florida, has been a favorite family escape since I was a child. When I am there, I often scour shops for unique items—Slim Aarons photographs; breezy caftans; coral centerpieces—and to find inspiration for my designs. These are my top picks from around town.

If you love whimsical vintage furnishings, head to Circa Who, in West Palm Beach. I especially love the Hollywood Regency mirrors, pagoda chandeliers, and beautiful rattan headboards.

My closet in Palm Beach is very colorful. I like pairing vintage Pucci, Lilly Pulitzer, and Leonard dresses from Palm Beach Vintage with gold sandals for that Grace-Kelly-in-the-south-of-France look.

Up the road, Hive Home, Gift & Garden is a one-stop shop for modern takes on classic Palm Beach style. You’ll find china and light fixtures, as well as furniture upholstered in my own fabrics.

The extensive stationery selection at Leta Austin Foster (561/655-7367) is a great source for children’s party invitations or personal letterhead.

My go-to for cocktail and dinner napkins: Trousseau Fine Vintage Linen (561/832-9696). I use my D. Porthault set, stitched with flowers and birds, every day.

The bohemian-meets-preppy aesthetic of CJ Laing is irresistible. Look for embroidered tunics from far-off places and straw evening clutches.

For a post-shopping pit stop, Pizza Al Fresco ($$) is charming and casual, set in a pretty Addison Mizner–designed courtyard right off Worth Avenue.

The New York City–based designer’s curated Palm Beach finds will be sold at home décor site One Kings Lane starting July 19.
