High-end outdoor retailer REI is offering over 400 free classes, events and hikes all around the country in a effort to rekindle Americans’ connection to nature.

Through its REI Outdoor School, the outdoor brand—better known for pricey gear like $300 sleeping bags and $200 hiking poles—will offer free outdoor activities during the weekend of July 30 and 31. People can sign up to go rock climbinghikingkayaking, and take skills classes.

“At REI we believe in the transformative power of spending time outdoors with others, and we’re excited to offer a free national weekend of classes,” Tim Spangler, REI’s senior vice president of retail, said in a statement.“REI Outdoor School makes it easy for people to get outside and have a fun, immersive experience on the water, in the forest, in the mountains or in their favorite park.”

For a full list of activities, visit the REI site. Registration opens today, although some activities do not require advanced sign-up.

The classes and locations offered for free vary, such as the HighLine in Manhattan to Devil’s Kitchen Trail at the Colorado National Monument. Many of REI’s guided hikes at local destinations will also be free.
