Southeast Asian street food is the draw at 14th Street’s newest hot spot. Case in point: spicy, lemongrass-laced beef noodle soup with marrow and oxtail, which simmers for hours. $9.

Dessert: Cassata at Casa Luca
At Fabio Trabocchi’s new osteria, we can’tresist this featherlight combo of vanilla meringue, Sicilian pistachio semifreddo, strawberry purée, and Campari sorbetto. $10.
