The Best Way to Enjoy a Snow Day, According to Casey Neistat
File this under: "Do Not Try This At Home"
Whether you live in New York City or not, you heard about the crippling snow storm that dumped multiple feet of snow on the East Coast last weekend. Most New Yorkers curled up indoors with some spiked hot chocolate and a Netflix queue the length of the Armageddon-esque grocery store lines. Videographer Casey Neistat tied a rope to the back of his jeep and went snowboarding. You decide who wins that scenario.
The resulting video (watch it above) is a mix of "why didn't I think of that?" and something you hear your Midwestern cousins brag about well into summer's warmest months. The ride took place in neighborhoods all around the city. "We targeted areas that had the least traffic," Neistat says. "When the travel ban went into effect, we said f*** it, and went to Times Square." Solid choice.
