The US Airways-American Airlines merger has been in the talks for a long while now—in fact, the actual business move took place in 2012—but last Friday night marked the brand's (as we know it) very last flight. To commemorate the event, American Airlines released a video (above) bringing together past and present US Airways employees to share their support. Not only is it incredible touching, but the flight out of San Francisco even called for its own photo booth (with props boasting the flight number—Flight 1939 to pay homage to the airline's founding year—of course). The merger, which resulted in what's now the world's largest airline, is surely one for the aviation history books.

Eventually, all of the previous US Airways planes will be repainted, but last weekend marked the unification of the two brands' reservation systems. Check out the video above for more on the big day.
