People line up to watch airplanes land and take-off at Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten. In fact, you could even call it a tourist attraction. It makes sense, considering the runway is considering one of the scariest in the world. For good reason: there's only 7,152 feet of runway before hitting the Caribbean waters. That being said, catching a Boeing 747 or Airbus 340 barely skimming the airport fence and landing in the area is quite a scene—especially to the swimsuit-clad beachgoers staring at the belly of an airplane as it passes by.
