The entire scene is much more serene than you'd think.

There's a good chance you've never been this close to a pair of whales before. When aerial photographer Jaimen Hudson heard there were whales spotted off the shore of Exmouth, Australia, he decided to make the most of the opportunity with his paddleboarding buddy Dave Price.

You would think being so close to such massive creatures would be completely paralyzing—mildly terrifying, at the least—but the video footage is far from stressful with shots of glistening blue waters, smooth paddle strokes, close-ups of the whales emerging for air. It doesn't get any more serene than this. In fact, multiple Youtube commenters have mentioned how easy it would be to fall asleep to the video (the soft soundtrack helps quite a bit).
