There's a Porta-Potty With a Secret at This New York City Concert Venue
A porta-potty is one of those places you only step into if it’s absolute necessary. Unless it's the porta-potty at the Forest Hills Stadium, a New York City concert venue.
Show promotion company Madison House Presents had the clever idea to use the façade of porta-potty as the entrance to a VIP room. It’s lined up with all of the other actual portable bathrooms, but there's a secret to entering. If you’re lucky enough to get access, you’ll be treated to a rock’n’roll-themed room with couches, insane concerts views and complimentary drinks.
“We thought it’d be funny if people standing in line for the [real] porta-potties suddenly saw 20 people come out of one, like a clown car,” Mike Luba, president of Madison House Presents, told the New York Post.
And that’s not the only secret room available at the recently renovated venue: In the Raccoon Room, VIPs can watch the performances from prime seats, and in the Sign Room, VIPs get exclusive backstage access.
