How many times have you tried to get a table at the “it” restaurant, only to find the wait list is a month long? Well, one app is promising to get you those impossible reservations at the push of a button.

"We created Velocity to put a treasure chest of the city’s finest dining at your fingertips to book instantly,” Co-Founder & Co-CEO, Zia Yusuf tells Travel + Leisure. “Our insiders curate the most unique experiences, and that includes the likes of Ippudo, an acclaimed NYC restaurant that has never historically taken reservations, but will now offer bookings exclusively through Velocity."

The app says it gives consumers access to their collection of the world's best restaurants, ranging from Michelin-starred places to under-the-radar intimate restaurants with budding chef stars. The discovery feature offers options specifically for each user, based on recommendation algorithms a la Netflix.

Available in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, San Francisco and London, the app also allows you to skip waiting for the check and sign off on the tab via your phone, like Uber.
