China's super-eco-friendly bus that is designed to travel over lanes of traffic had its first road test Tuesday.
The bus—nicknamed TEB-1, for Transit Elevated Bus—is about 70 feet long and can carry 300 passengers at a time. It runs on solar power and electricity, and literally “eats” cars as it flies down the road.
The extreme design was meant to ease road congestion, and the bus avoids interactions with other traffic. Check it out in action:
