In-flight comforts have come a long way, but calling an airplane cozy is still quite a stretch, even when you are jetting off on a private plane. Lufthansa Technik, however, has new plans for an airplane fireplace specifically made for private jets. (This might be the best thing since the life-changing airplane middle seat design.)

Disclaimer: There isn’t actual fire in these hearths. The flames are simulated using water mist, sound effects, and fake logs that glow and crackle just like the real deal. Before you scoff at the imitation, let’s remember that there’s an actual Netflix stream of a virtual Yule Tide log. Bravo for going above and beyond, Lufthansa.

The design made its debut at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Geneva Switzerland at the end of last May. This concept does much more than up a plane’s cozy factor—the fireplaces will actual warm the cabins of the aircrafts. The only downside: The fireplaces measure in at 66 pounds, meaning installation may require you to give up some of your precious cargo space. Those extra pair of shoes or a living room-esque set-up for your overnight flight? We opt for the latter.
