Finally, one more reason to hit snooze.
A Canadian company has created the world’s first self-making duvet cover for your bed. Now you can use those extra minutes to do something useful like sleeping in more (or however you prefer to spend your morning).
The SmartDuvet, which had a successful Kickstarter campaign with over $40,000 CAD pledged, is an air-chamber insert that attaches to your own duvet (and sheets, if you wish), that you can control with your smartphone app.
All you have to do is wake up and press a button.
SmartDuvet also has developed a second generation, the SmartDuvet Breeze, which can control cool and heat settings based on which side of the bed you sleep on.
Now you can be as cozy as you want to be at night and still leave your bed in a mess of covers in the morning.
According to The Irish News, SmartDuvet claims that the Breeze could “significantly lower energy costs by allowing users to heat or cool their body directly rather than managing the temperature of their whole home.”
Pricing for the Breeze begins at $269 ($179 currently on sale) for a single size bed.
It’s 2017. Your furniture should be doing your chores for you by now.
