Finding an open outlet at the airport is frustrating enough. Finding a group of them conveniently located together? Nearly impossible. And this is only one situation where a a travel-friendly power strip would come in handy. Luckily for anyone who is neverendingly frustrated by uncharged electronics while onthe go, there's a Kickstarter campaign for that. MOGICS is a circular power strip with seven outlets—there are even two USB ports for your iPhone charger.

The contractible cord is the real hero in this design. The power strip more readily resembles a measuring tape than the wire-y mess that is a traditional bar-shaped power strip. The design comes in two variations: the donut, and the bagel—both are small enough to keep in your pocket. The donut was made for domestic travel, only compatible with standard U.S. outlets. However, it does come with a universal adapter for the main power outlet. Bagel, the second variation, has a mix of U.S. and universal outlets. We've seen our fair share of wacky travel products, but this one should be on the packing list of any multitasking traveler. You'd better hurry: the campaign has just under a month left and it's already wrangled in close to $255k—far surpassing the original $15k goal.
