Joule bracelet

If there's one thing that makes getting through airport security a little easier, it's a steaming cup of coffee. The only downside: You can't actually bring coffee with you through security. But there's a new bracelet out there that's kicking the paper cup aside and directly feeding your caffeine addiction by giving you equal doses all day long—through your skin. The Joule band was designed with a spot for a transdermal caffeine patch, which works exactly as a nicotine patch would.

Joule promises all of the energy without all of the negative aspects your coffee habit brings out: jitters, tooth stains, or energy crashes. Watch the video below to see it in action:

Unfortunately, you can't buy this gadget just yet. Joule is currently seeking funding on Indiegogo—in fact, the current funds raised is well over $57k, a far cry from their ask of $15k. Not digging the rubber band look? It also comes in a watch version. For more information, head to the project on Indiegogo.
