Lady Gaga and boyfriend Taylor Kinney recently attended an Operation Smile charity event in Park City, Utah. The couple turned the event into a weekend getaway so they could hit the slopes and snowboard their way around Park City in style. And Lady Gaga isn’t the only celebrity to take advantage of Park City’s gorgeous slopes; the destination is a favorite for celebrity vacations. Many stars — including Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Will Smith, and Katherine Heigl — have vacation homes in the area.

Flight: Flights from JFK to SLC average $489, however travelers can save as much as 28 percent on airfare in September, with round-trips starting at $299. From LAX, the average ticket price is $186, but travelers can snag round-trip flights for $163 in October.
Activity: Skiing or snowboarding at Canyons Ski Resort. All day passes start at $125.

Flight: On average, flights from JFK to KEF are $605, however budget travelers can save as much as 16 percent on airfare in October (for $523). For those traveling from LAX, save 21 percent on the average ticket price is $778 by traveling in November.
Activity: Take the Golden Circle Tomato Farm Tour through Reykjavik Excursions, which has tours starting at about $83, and enjoy a hotdog and soda at Bæjarins BeztuPylsur for $5.
