How many travel experts does it take to find a restaurant in L.A.? At least two.

You might not expect travel experts like Samantha Brown and Rick Steves to get lost, but when they do, they make the most of it.

Brown, who is the host of the PBS Show Places to Love, met up with fellow travel host and author Rick Steves in downtown Los Angeles. Apparently, while on their trip, the pair got a little lost on the way to a restaurant.

Now, it’s easy to get lost in a big city like Los Angeles. Many tourists get turned around on a daily basis, which is why so many seem to be permanently glued to their maps, phones, and tour guides just trying to do anything from getting a cup of coffee in the morning to finding their favorite celebrity’s Hollywood home.

If anything, watching travel experts try to find their way is a gentle reminder that we’re all human – and that being a well-seasoned traveler doesn’t always mean you automatically have a map in your head.

It’s unclear what restaurant they were trying to go to, but Steves and Brown tried to make the most of it by posting a video on Twitter. Steves decided to do a little impromptu interview with Brown while walking on the street, asking her about her show and what she loves about travel.

Frankly, watching these two try to find their way is entertaining, so perhaps the dynamic duo should consider a co-hosting gig.

At the end of the video, Steves and Brown did not seem much closer to finding their restaurant, but at least we got a good conversation out of it.

People on Twitter sent them plenty of words of encouragement. We hope they made it to their destination safe and sound (and hopefully, without losing a reservation).
