Meghan Markle has had quite the stellar few years. Not only did she meet and marry her literal prince charming, Prince Harry, but she also gave birth to her first child, Archie, who sits seventh in line for the throne. And now, it appears life may be getting even sweeter as apparently the Queen herself is planning both a birthday party and a quick family vacation for the lucky American duchess.

Each summer, Queen Elizabeth heads off to her beloved home of Balmoral, located in the Scottish highlands, for a bit of much-deserved rest and relaxation. Though the rest of the royal family is usually invited anyway, the Queen is apparently making a special point to ensure Meghan, Harry, and Archie attend too.

According to The Sun, the trio will be given their own wing in Balmoral for the vacation and will be the guests of honor at a special tea with the Queen.

“The Queen and Prince Philip adore the couple and, of course, their new great-grandson Archie, and they have invited them to Balmoral for a few days,” a source shared with The Sun. “It is a testament to Meghan that she has been given this invite. It’s a huge honor.”

According to the source, The Queen will celebrate Meghan’s 38th birthday as well on Aug. 4. She’s reportedly already asked the catering team to plan a cake for the occasion.

“Meghan may be a Duchess who can have anything she wants but the Queen is giving her a thoughtful present,” the source said. “It’s no secret Balmoral is Her Majesty’s favorite home and that’s why this invite is so special and heartfelt.”

Truly, this is a special event as it marks Meghan, Harry, and Archie’s first invitation to the home as a family. And it’s one Harry is apparently truly thankful for.

"Harry wants Archie to grow up loving the Scottish countryside and learning to fish and hunt there just like he did growing up,” a source told Vanity Fair. “He’s a traditionalist in that way."
