It looks like little Princess Charlotte may be taking after her dear old uncle Harry.

On Thursday, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and two of their children attended the King’s Cup Regatta in Cowes, Isle of Wight. Both mom and dad took part in the race as Prince George and Princess Charlotte watched from the shoreline. Though Middleton came in last place, the entire crowd came in first as they all got to witness a hilarious moment thanks to little Charlotte.

Right before heading to the trophy ceremony, Middleton bent down to Charlotte and pointed out that the entire crowd was looking at her. According to Hello!, Middleton encouraged her daughter to wave to her adoring fans. But, this is a four-year-old we’re talking about. So, instead of giving a graceful royal wave, Princess Charlotte stuck her tongue out at the audience.

Rather than get mad, Middleton simply laughed along, because really, what are you going to do? A kid is a kid, royal or not.

Though really, this is far from the first time we’ve seen the royals stick their tongue out at the crowds. As People reported, Princess Charlotte did this once before at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2018 wedding. And she probably learned this behavior from Harry himself.

Way back in 1988, Prince Harry became famous for sticking his tongue out at the paparazzi as he sat in the backseat of a car following a visit to the hospital when his cousin, Princess Beatrice, was born.

Harry became fairly famous for the funny face, showing off his tongue in a car once again as he drove with Princess Diana to a school nativity play. Once he saw the cameras flashing he made a few more hilarious faces before Diana picked him up to bring him inside. Surely, this family trait just means Charlotte will grow up to be a caring, thoughtful, and charitable member of the royal family just like Harry — but we hope she never loses her sense of humor.
