Tuesday, March 31, marks the last day that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will serve as senior members of the royal family. However, royal watchers shouldn’t expect to hear too much from the couple about the transition now, or possibly ever. "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would prefer that in the immediate weeks and months, the focus remains on the global response to COVID-19," a Sussex spokesperson told CNN. "However, we recognize there are outstanding questions relating to their future beyond their Household transition deadline." But, there are a few things we do know will immediately change for the pair. Here’s everything fans can expect to be different for Harry and Meghan. Their Instagram account will have a name change Since the couple is moving away from their royal roles they can no longer use the title, Sussex Royal. And that means their Instagram account, which has more than 11.3 million followers, will have to undergo some type of name change or total shutdown. The account, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said, will remain inactive "for the foreseeable future." “Thank you to this community - for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. We look forward to reconnecting with you soon,” the couple wrote in a post. “You’ve been great! Until then, please take good care of yourselves, and of one another.” They will no longer use the HRH titles When the couple decided to reduce their royal roles the Queen made the call that they can no longer use the HRH, or His and Her Royal Highness, tiles. That means the pair will also no longer represent the Queen in any official capacity. But, there is one thing CNN explained will remain the same: Harry’s place in line for the throne. Still, he’s rather far down the line anyway, so it’s likely a non-issue. The Palace will no longer represent or comment on Harry and Meghan According to a statement provided to Town & Country, Harry and Meghan will soon have a completely separate communications team. That means the royal staff will no longer comment on any of their private matters. "Effective March 31, 2020, no other Royal communications representatives act on behalf of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, including Palace spokespeople, Household representatives nor Royal sources," the statement read. "Going forward, Buckingham Palace will no longer comment/guide on Sussex related inquiries." But, a spokesperson for the couple told CNN that is fine with them, adding that the couple “have no plans to ask the US government for security resources.” The source noted, privately funded security arrangements have already been made. Their non-profit will likely be announced soon Though the pair will likely step away from the spotlight for some time, it appears they are moving full-steam ahead with their charitable work behind the scenes. According to Good Morning America, they already made huge hires for their non-profit, which has yet to be named. That includes hiring Catherine St-Laurent, who previously led a company launched by Melinda Gates. “From our very first conversation, Harry and Meghan have expressed a deep commitment to improving lives and having a positive impact on society," St-Laurent said in a statement. "Their perspective on the role that empathy, connection, and compassion can play in that mission is both deeply personal and incredibly timely. I am delighted and honored to be able to play a role in realizing their vision as they embark on this journey of learning, listening, and inspiring all of us to act.” Don’t worry about digging for Harry and Meghan updates.
