Beyoncé’s $13K Airplane Outfit Proves She’s the Queen of Travel
Beyoncé once again just proved she is the queen of everything with a simple Instagram photo of her in-flight routine.
The singer, actress, dancer, and mom shared a snap of her and husband Jay-Z looking extra casual and comfy in a sweatsuit with unkempt hair and an eye mask as they flew in coach class.
Just kidding, this is Beyoncé we are talking about. Instead, the star showed off her killer glamorous private plane look, which consisted of $10,000 Saint Laurent glitter boots adorned with thousands of Swarovski crystals, a pair of mini Y Project shorts (likely just under $500), and a Balenciaga T-shirt (you can get a similar one for $450). She accessorized the look with a long white belt, equally long blonde locks, and five hoop earrings running the length of each earlobe. And for the final touch Beyoncé also carried the It-bag of the season, a $1,495 square MCM Berlin crossbody black bag.
And sure, Jay looked cool in an off-white sweatsuit and orange hat, but he certainly couldn’t hold a candle to Bey.
Though there’s no word on where the couple was headed on their private plane ride, it’s still nice for fans to see the duo happy and together. Jay-Z recently revealed in a raw and heartbreaking interview with The New York Times that he did indeed once cheat on his superstar wife.
And as a source told People, the pair had to keep at it for years to make their marriage work.
“If it’s wasn’t for Blue Ivy, they might not be together,” the source said. “It took them years to get to the point where they are now.” As the source added, “It was very rough for them to stay married. It took Beyoncé a long time to trust again. She was struggling to move on and forgive. But keeping her family together was very important.”
The source further noted that the addition of twins Rumi and Sir has further cemented the couple’s commitment to one another. “Having more babies together made them even closer,” the source said. “[They] are very proud that they overcame huge marital issues and happy they were able to move on as a family.”
Now if only they’d give us a ride along on their next flight. We’re happy to go anywhere they are.
