The warm, long, sunny days are simply ushering you to make your way to the shore to enjoy a nice dip, a nap under an umbrella, or even a few fruity drinks on the boardwalk. But when it’s time to go make sure you don’t bring all that sand home with you with one super ingenious trick: baby powder. America's favorite beach towns According to a few life hacking experts, baby powder, or talcum powder, is one of the best ways to remove stubborn sand from in between your toes,and other areas of the body. Simply air dry a bit after getting out of the water then vigorously apply baby powder to any area where sand is still sticking. Wipe off the excess sand and voila! It will be like you were never at the beach at all. The powder works by absorbing excess moisture on the skin, thus making it easier to simply brush off the sand. As LifeHacker reported, the powder even works in wet hair to help release any grains of sand stuck on your scalp. The best beach sandals for your next vacation And as blogger Aracely, otherwise known as DayTrippingMom, noted, it’s the perfect thing to have on hand right before giving your kids their seaside lunch. “When you’re going to feed the kiddos a snack or getting ready to serve lunch at the beach, bring out your little bottle of baby powder, shake a generous amount on hands and then be ready to easily shake of the sand off any hands,” Aracely said. She says if baby powder isn’t your thing, or you’re simply looking for an all-natural product, you can also try cornstarch.
