Someone once left a bubble machine behind — seriously.

It's not unheard of to forget a cellphone or wallet in an Uber while in a rush, but the ride-sharing company has actually found that some cities are more susceptible to forgetfulness than others — and even leave some strange things behind.

In data compiled by Uber released on Tuesday, two of the top three most forgetful cities happened to be in the Lone Star State with residents in Lubbock, Texas, taking the top spot and those in College Station, Texas, coming in third for forgetfulness. People in Oxford, Miss., were the second most forgetful in the country, according to Uber, followed by Fresno, Calif., and Modesto, Calif.

In some cases, however, what people left behind was even more surprising than who was doing it. While most people tend to lose their phones, wallets, and keys, some have forgotten some more unique items.

Uber found that riders have reported forgotten items ranging from a bubble machine to cat tarot cards, a bag of stuffed elves, a Ouija board, diamond cufflinks, and guinea pig slippers.

"We’ve all experienced that moment of panic when you leave something behind - often in the backseat of an Uber,” head of lost and found at Uber, Nicole Siefert, told Travel + Leisure. “From frequently lost items … to more unique belongings like a cat paw print, a bubble machine, or Swarovski binoculars, it's our goal to help return whatever it is you may have left behind."

Many people also take Uber as they head off for a vacation and that tends to translate to a lot of lost travel items like passports and even an Away canvas travel bag.

Additionally, the ride-sharing company saw more than a 21 percent increase in people who left their Airpods behind in comparison to the year before.

If you do forget something (especially anyone who lost a passport), Uber suggests you call the driver or log in to your account and report it under the “Your Trips” section. If you can’t reach the driver, Uber recommends leaving a detailed voicemail describing the lost item and the best way to contact you.

These are the 10 Most forgetful cities, according to Uber.

  1. Lubbock, Texas
  2. Oxford, Miss.
  3. College Station, Texas
  4. Fresno, Calif.
  5. Modesto, Calif.
  6. Lawrence, Kan.
  7. St Cloud, Minn.
  8. Columbus, Ga.
  9. Tallahassee, Fla.
  10. Fayetteville, N.C.
