The Spice Girls Are Making a Comeback — Here's the Story From A to Z
Get your platform shoes out of storage, because 2018 just got spicier. Coming off the 20th anniversary of Spice World, Posh, Baby, Ginger, Sporty, Scary, and their former manager Simon Fuller have announced they will be reuniting for a tour across the U.S. and U.K.
Whether you currently live in the touring countries or need an excuse to visit, the time to "spice up your life" is now. Last seen together at the 2012 London Olympics, the girl group cited their infamous message of female empowerment as motivation to get back together this year.
“The Time’s Up and #MeToo movements have shone a light on how powerful we can be when we work together to bring about change,” Victoria Beckham said, according to the London Evening Standard. “That is incredibly inspiring. My career has always focused on empowering and celebrating women, so the momentum that these movements brought only make me even more determined and passionate in my beliefs.”
While specific tour dates have not yet been announced, you will be able to moonwalk the foxtrot and polka the salsa by late summer. Sounds like a good reason to go to London.
