There are more than 60 routes with one-way flights from $49.
Southwest is offering motivation to book your spring and summer travel with flights around the U.S. and abroad starting at $49.
There are more than 60 routes with one-way flights from $49, including Albuquerque to Phoenix, Los Angeles to San Francisco, Cincinnati to Baltimore, Dallas to Oklahoma City, and Las Vegas to San Jose.
With Southwest’s international network, travelers can book a sale flight to Cancun, Los Cabos or Montego Bay for less than $300 round-trip.
The sale is valid on domestic travel from May 8 through June 13 and again on flights from August 21 through October 31 (leaving a gap for major summer travel from mid-June through mid-August). Black-out dates are May 24, 25 and 28, August 31 and September 3.
Travelers can also take advantage of cheap flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico from September 5 through October 31 and international destinations from August 21 through the end of October.
Passengers don’t need to worry about surprise fees attached to these sale fares. Unlike most major airlines, Southwest allows passengers to check two bags for free on every flight. And passengers won’t pay any additional fees for seat selection — mainly because Southwest has everybody to choose their own seat on the plane.
The fares are not valid from the airports of Portland, Maine and Rochester, New York.
The offers are available through May 3. Travel must be booked at least 14 days before the flight and tickets are nonrefundable.
