The Greenville Zoo in South Carolina is asking for help naming their newborn female calf, born to their proud mom giraffe, Autumn. The 6-foot, 2-inch, 157 pound baby was born on January 31, 2018.

The zoo posted about the competition on Facebook on Monday, February 5. To submit a name for the newborn, fill out the form on the Greenville Zoo website.

Submissions will be taken through Thursday, February 8 at noon, Eastern standard time. The zoo will announce the winner at a news conference Friday, at 10:00 a.m.

At the moment, the zoo is closed for routine maintenance, but will open again to the public on Saturday, February 10, so everyone can marvel at the latest “little” addition -- hopefully with an adorable, new name.
